No you clearly never actually played the OG Contra Band Farms. The opening is you fight animated robots with a shotgun who shoot plasma balls to get the keys to a tool shed. I went to duel arena because I thought maybe thereâs duel, itâs clicking on dandelions.

The dandelions and etc, are there to resonate elemental skillcards. It might not be what you expect since you the think and believe the only type of game that exist = FPS gaming but welcome to Turn Based Strategy sir!
Portal just says need a skill and the message is off screen. There are all those characters there that could say how to play the game. I had a scarecrow that looks at all the game state variables and tells the user what step is next based upon their game state.
Of course I never played OG Contra Band Farms.

I wish you good luck in your game, but I can see Iâm the only one in there. Basically what youâre saying is even if you spend thousands of hours making the best game DCL has ever seen - please donât pay me - I will just sell 10 NFTs but donât dare pay me - Iâm a free web3 programmer. Bitfiend keeps saying I donât know web3 - actually web3 dev usually makes more than other sectors. Most web3 devs if you tell them 40k for 6+ months theyâll laugh in face. I would say manage expectations on here.
The potential to sell all 5,000 Laser Tag NFTâs for $10 a pop is there. It could take a while, but thatâs business.

Yes, web3 devs are on a higher-paid scale. Iâm curious how much web3 related dev work you had to do in order to make the laser tag game work? Itâs my understanding that portable experiences (smart wearables) are coded in Typescript.

A Decentralized Autonomous Organization is basically run by the community. You have to impress us and win us over to get DAO money. This is not a way to win us over.
By coming in the way you did, itâs not an impressive first impression.
The $40,000 you are asking for is for a handful of games that youâve taken away and nobody seems to miss along side the laser tag game that is obviously still there but clearly not worth $40,000.
I would suggest that when this proposal gets declined that you put up a better one. If you want help writing a good proposal there are a lot of people here that i am sure would be willing to give you some advice.
Start small. No one paid you $24,000 to code laser tag, surely, so ask for a grant to continue developing laser tag with a reasonable number with more details that doesnât involve bashing decentraland or other dcl games in your proposal and you might get somewhere.
The problem here is that because you are demanding money in order to keep laser tag active for work you already did it clearly implies that you will expect to be paid for any future development that you do for your project.
Grants are supposed to help you kick start your project so that it becomes self sustained. Not âgo for a proposal every time you write a line of codeâ.
Since you will more than likely demand more money and since working with you is like walking on thin ice it is possible that if we donât continue to line your pockets you will eventually rug the laser tag regardless of how much money we give you.
With that said it would be very risky and a bad idea for anyone to vote yes on any of your proposals.
How do you think I paid my bills? All that code was 50-80 hours per week, not part time, not even close. I didnât even go live with music for months everyone knows I go live several times per week on tiktok usually, no new track released the whole time. Iâm not rich no way to be making code for that long without investor. I believe boss MAY allow for a permanent/full edition of laser tag that includes any small bug fixes found to try to recoup some of the cost, but nothing else. Sad the game engine I made will be wasted when itâs ready for rapid expansion and DCL really needs that whether realize or not.

Get a job. Commenting on our grant seems to be your main hobby. Whatâs your obsession? Itâs not healthy to be obsessed with some random small sized grant on the internet. Sir you may want to see a psychologist. You got a refund and still youâre here every 10 minutes to say something. Itâs not healthy. Go study programming if it drives you insane that software company wants 40k for 6 months full time - and could easily get way more from more legitimate company. Yes every week minimum 50 not only for laser tag but for all 5 pieces over 4 months roughly. The only exception Thanksgiving holiday. I suggest you donât write on here again. Itâs making you look unstable IMO.
the release date is 19th and the rc is having a meeting with me on the 20th to release marketing funds so that your the only one there is only logical

I work harder than you ever will. I think it is you who needs to get a job since you are trying to pay your bills using DAO money. I donât need DAO money to pay my bills lol. I think a more stable source of income is something you should consider.
I have helped create two smart wearables and it was all funded without the need of a grant. Itâs funny you say that bout me commenting on your terrible proposal because I rarely comment on these forums. Think about how bad your proposal is that I took the time to comment. Most proposals are decent but this one is just not right so I wanted to help you.
One of my hobbies is Decentraland and Web3 and I enjoy teaching and educating people about it. I stated in an earlier comment that this was an exercise for me.
The exercise was that I found a really confused individual (and his lady boss) that are not understanding how any of this works so I wanted to give you some advice in hopes that you would understand. It is unfortunate that I have clearly failed but I know the information I wrote here is all solid.
If you were to include a very detailed log of all the documented hours you have working on these games it would go a lot further than simply claiming youâve been working on this for 6 months 50-80 hours a week. Again, you already deleted the games so your $40,000 request is very invaluable since you already deleted them. The promise to bring them back is not important since it is clear that no one really cares if you bring them back or not.
This is not a random small sized grant on the internet. It is a $40,000 grant on Decentraland, a metaverse that I am invested in (the mana in my bitfiend.eth wallet isnât all the mana I have) so when I see nonsense like this proposal I wanted to help you understand.
It is unfortunate that you wonât understand. Refund or not you are still trying to syphon $40,000 out of a platform I care about in an unethical and unprofessional way. As an investor of this platform I consider it, in part, my platform.
I still strongly urge you to break these many projects of your own that youâve built into different proposals. consider how you will monetize your project so that it is self sustainable and include that in your individual proposals and it will go a long way. I know you can do this.
in regards to mental instability, you have bashed more than once the very platform you want money from while bashing the very people who have the voting power to give you the grant. You may want to look in the mirror.
Whatâs it matter to you if someone gets a grant for doing good work? Iâve seen so many grants theyâre not going to bring nearly the people as good games. Look at the stats every top scene for pulling people is a game - yet all the games are getting defunded here even the #1 world. Let me teach you about DAO. The D is for Decentralized. Here we have about 8-12 people who make the decision and itâs pointless for the others of DCL to even vote - itâs not decentralized - so much so that SEC should declare this a security and remove from Coinbase. Theyâre called legislators because theyâre born to be corrupt and hand money out to their friends. Anyone with eyes can see itâs corruption, favoritism. We have a right to be mad when Iâm working 16 hour days often investing heavily then someone comes and votes against us without even trying the games. If they donât want in politics they should not be a legislator, or quit looting the DAO funds and attacking the MANA holders by defunding games. Clearly you wont get this upset if youâre not in the Cabal and benefitting.
