Do we really want to be wondering why we passed another 5-figure creator grant 6 months from now when this effort brings a total of 50 users? Of course the price is relevant, if it was a more reasonable $10-20 per expected user acquisition it would be far less serious, but you want to give someone $1k/user (IF THAT).
It’s a spit in the face of every content creator that shows up weekly and puts in work, the DAO isn’t here to fund amateur hobbyists, it’s here to make the metaverse we all use better. This platform gives us all so much to leverage, and still some people want to take more from it.
I get that the world would be great if we all got paid to chase our hobbies, but we literally cannot afford it. The system should be for smaller grants, or for professionals to fund the legitimate costs of development.
Thank you for belittling the grant over and over to a metric and not the whole scope and output of content in and off land. And thank you for the words like “fund amateur hobbyists” nice way to down play peoples commitment. It seems you have a one track mind and an obsession. This is directly to make the platform experience better socially and negate boredom. Honestly I’m not sure why you cant say your opinion, cast your vote and move on. It seems like you have some sort of complex due to the 500kvp injection.
Not doubting your commitment, just your skillset based on what you have provided so far for the funding requested.

When you ask for a grant you open yourself up to scrutiny, especially when its such a large amount for a single indie content creator. Sorry but this is what requesting funding looks like, if you can’t handle the most basic of scrutiny with real statistics and legitimate answers, you aren’t ready - I’ve gone much easier on you than I would have if you were trying to get this money out of my centralized corporation.
Awesome turnout so far, 54 yes / 35 no. Remember its not the amount of VP you hold that decides your value. The players are the value and let’s work on having dynamic interactive events almost daily sometimes two times a day with reliable routine! This ones for the gamers and future gamers!

I estimate over 400 events a year. Each one netting multiple clips from the vods that are not only used for my socials but also the land owners can use. And any content creator can use my events or my vods for their own content too. This is not a ploy to benefit me. This is for me to be 100% committed to interactive fun events thus improving user retention and creating good content for off the platform. This grant would also allow me to never rely on the dao again and continue to be here full time after the one year mark. I believe this is the best value for output and would wish people truly look past the ‘helpimstreaming’ brand and any bias you may have towards me and see the actual scope of this grant.
I have also released a game next to genesis (no dao help) and push updates to the land all the time. The first event netted 50 new people to that land and even when the game broke people still stayed and had fun. There was people waiting in the land telling me they are waiting for me as i walked over from the spin the wheel event. This was BEFORE the event was live.
I have been here a long time, I have shown my commitment and I have shown that it does not matter what the game is I still make fun events that aid in user retention due to myself and my character.
Once again, any bias you may have against me needs to be let go whether this passes or not. We are all one.
