Ow I see that I totally missed to reply to the budget concerns, when I assumed that was not an issue at all since it was proposed like this, everything GSS says is not needed was voted on by the communities decision, its not for him to decide whether we need moderators ( which we do ) or not.
We have spend the released funds according to what needs to be spend on based on monthly progress you, GSS made us have roadmap on notion to have everything acoording to date by date progress, so we spend it according to the progress on this roadmap.
The money to release the wearable is still there but its not wise to do it yet, we need to see whether the revocation comittee is going to unpause our grant or not. Because if not we might to use the money for the wearable to cover the developer fees of the current month…
Many times before proposing my grant people wondered on how I am going to onboard users to our game, When I said that I will do collaboration the proposal became valuable to the community and people decided to vote yes after this twist, so for GSS now to say “These funds shouldn’t be necessary until the game is developed” is making us worried that he does not respect the communities decision.
We have seen many marketing strategies in many grants, I don’t see why the collaboration marketing strategy should been deployed before the game is finished.
About moderators:
I think GSS believes that this grant was only to develop a game and leave it afterwards to die, because if he truly believes hiring moderators is not necessary this will be the outcome, we need moderators to support the players in- game. If a major bug appaers the moderators will forward these to the devs.
When someone is hacking/exploiting and we see that someone is abusing these to claim all the wearables in the store the whole game economy would collapse making the game not worth it anymore.
And besides again it is what the community has voted for.
Why we think we still have the ability to finish this project is simple:
We have dedicated all our effort in this game, making the game clear with more information will be easy for us, what there is left is nothing compared to what is done.
For the POC I suggest anyone to visit our our parcel and test the game.
