Sinful is a unique asset that doesn’t come along very often. I can easily agree with all of your previous comments.
I’ve known Sinful since Winter 2021 and in that time we have discussed blockchain, world views, business and finance, and morality. And through those interactions, have come to see that Sinful is a person that recognizes the value in “people”. As this is not such a rare skill in itself, what is unique about Sinful is his ability to organize that asset and how to use his extensive business and financial knowledge to inform and bolster a community in order make relevant change. Change is a byproduct of growth which I feel is required in our community if we all want to see ourselves succeed. I am confident that this grant will aid Sinful in growing the community and in making Decentraland stronger as a whole. All while bringing more healthy visibility to Decentraland.

100% yes from me. Sinful was the first dcl streamer I found and makes every new user feel welcomed. He has gifted countless wearables that could have been sold for his benefit and does so much for the community as far as bringing awareness to events and creators.
However, I can see there being some concern from other’s outside of the community that knows him and maybe this proposal can benefit from the addition of some metrics we can track progress against.
For example, how many beyond the nft events are expected each month? How many “how to” videos are expected to be produced? How often will the twitter spaces be? How often do you expect to stream and how many hours monthly?
Additionally, it may be wise to have some plan for funding after the grant funds are exhausted. xpand seems promising with how much they give back to creators but can be redundant as a twitch streamer trying to get twitch subs. Some organized events like sub-athons can be good to boost sub counts. 1000 subs and we get a face reveal??? haha or just silly promotions and prizes at the different levels of sub counts etc.

Absolute yes. At the same time I agree with @mattimus that some metrics would be ideal for tracking progress.

You can get RTMP server for way less than that, SugarClub was getting his RTMP server for less than 500 USD per year.
I’m in favor of creating good content, but this is just asking for too much IMO.
Streaming to 100 persons is not being a community manager, and the salary for USA is not really a good metrics when in most other countries (including Europe) that salary is less than half of salaries listed in USA
I think you bring up a Valid point, but there are very few people outside DG players that have been constant in streaming. Less then that if you go back a year. @KevinOnEarth and @SinfulMeatStick are two that come to mind when i think long term streamers of DCL . I can name more then a handful who were here for the good times this last bullmarket then left. I think its important to have at least some kind of presence. Not saying we should hire and pay for a ton of streamers but I think its wise to have a few. You need roads and avenues to lead back to DCL. It wasnt that long ago twitch didnt even have a decentraland icon or option. He may only have couple hundred today but no one knows what the future holds. If we dont have anybody out front then you cant be surprised if we dont reach somebody. Id rather people also come in via community then just for the money. Thats what he offers you see events. You see people and projects and you make connections and friendships.
Wisher has felt the effects of the work Sinful has been doing and we see the value in his efforts to support the entire community. I am voting YES to Sinful to continue bringing awareness to DCL and all of the builders in DCL including Wisher. He has been a valuable community player. Cheers!

Dear community,
The Grant Support Squad was created to support grantees to achieve their goals and to take care of the DAO Treasury, with the main goal of guaranteeing the effectiveness of the Grants Program.
Regarding the grantee’s last update and what we have checked, the project is healthy. However, the vesting contract is not following the timeline of the roadmap proposed because the project was to be completed in one 1-year and the current vesting contract has a period of 6 months.
For this reason, we suggest that the DAO Committee (@yemel @HPrivakos) create a new vesting contract with a duration that coincides with the schedule presented at the beginning of the proposal.
In this sense, the project is in its 2nd month but since the contract has awarded almost 35% of the funds, the activity is financed until the 4th month. So, we spoke with the Grantee and reached an agreement that the new contract would start on January 1, 2023 (4th month of the project) with a duration of 8 months, with the commitment to make the corresponding updates.
Last but not least, this does not have to be used as a precedent, but as a kickstart to continue working on this poll and to have a vesting contract duration that matches with the timeline voted.
