The hoodie we’re creating does not show on DCL editor.
Used the armature MetaTiger provide me on previous thread.
Is there anything should be changed?
Nice Shape !
I usually have this problem for my JetPack but it was always because of something wrong in the 3d model, bad alignemnt or point not merge or materials bug with UV…
Not sure it will help you.
On the overrides, it says it hides upper body. Is that the issue? Should it be as replaces upper body?
This is true, looks like upper body is hidden and can also be sure you exported your armature with the model! Let me know if you have any further issues~
Thanks. Tried removing from hidden, and not working yet. Exportred with the armature with the model. Still not working.
This problem is with the .fbx armature from the Google Drive.
I started noticing this since the ‘Skins’ category was introduced, but now seeing this almost every day.
I recommend everyone to STOP using that armature, because somehow it has additional bones added to it (extra Head bone + Feet bones)
IMO, the only correct armatures (.glb files) can be found here:
Base-Avatars > Body_Shape > BaseFemale or BaseMale

Greetings,
Cyclopa
Thank you Cyclopia, hope the link on the DCL doc. will be replaced to correct armature.
I used this, should be correct one. Because other 3 werables we created shows on editor, only this hoodie not showing.
Attaching my Gltf file. Appreciated if finding what’s wrong and need to be fixed.

The armature of the hoodie has extra feet bones too. @Nyankee
Here’s the fixed version:

YOU MIGHT HAVE TO CHECK THE WEIGHT PAINTING AGAIN!
Thank you so much for this!! Oh no those extra feet bones…!! Didn’t realized, only focusing on the extra head bones.
It worked! Thank you again!!
We might need to fix the size of the hood, Replace “hair” doen’t help hiding hair…
Try hide slot instead of replace.
What Yannakis said! @Nyankee
(And you might have to add some hands haha)
When you have a hoodie on you must either hide hair or add hair mesh to the wearable to avoid clipping
I see. Challenging. We’ll try adding hair. Thanks so much.
I want to keep this hoodie oversized, so hands would be covered with sleeves. Is that acceptable?
Or hands should be shown?
I’ll be adding hair.
I love it that’s no issue as long as the movement is there!
Oh good! Hands covered then. I’ll come back with hair attached. Thanks!
