Summary
Since Community Meet Up #7 did not take place, we were happy to bring everyone back together for a football special edition.
We started the session by playing Goal Legends Arena, one of the accepted projects from Regenesis Grants Season 1. The game is being built by @meryshark and @carlosmu and we spent some time testing it live with the community through several in-world matches.
The main focus of the session was the DCL Kickoff Challenge, a football prediction experience developed by Regenesis Labs. We walked through the world together, visited the stadium, explained how the challenge works and submitted some of our first predictions live
Players can participate by entering the Prediction World at kickoff.dcl.eth, claiming the free DCL Community Soccer Jersey and submitting match predictions before each match begins. Once a match kicks off, predictions are locked and can no longer be changed.
We also went over the scoring system. A correct match outcome gives 3 points, while an exact score prediction adds 2 extra points. Wrong predictions or missed predictions receive 0 points.
For the Final, there is an additional Final Prediction Bonus. Predicting the correct final winner gives 5 points, and an exact final score prediction adds 10 points. These bonus points count only toward the Overall Leaderboard.
We also covered the prize structure for the challenge. The top three players in the Group Stage can win DCL Names that grant access to DCL Worlds:
Group Stage 3rd Place: TeamCaptain.dcl.eth
Group Stage 2nd Place: Playmaker.dcl.eth
Group Stage 1st Place: Goalkeeper.dcl.eth
For the Knockout Stage, the top three players can win LAND rewards:
Knockout Stage 3rd Place: 1 LAND at 7,-118
Knockout Stage 2nd Place: 2 LAND at 89,-31 and 90,-31
Knockout Stage 1st Place: 3 LAND at 35,-33, 35,-32 and 34,-32
The Overall Champion, based on the highest total score across the Group Stage, Knockout Stage, and Final Prediction Bonus, will receive 4 LAND at 89,-33, 90,-32, 90,-33 and 89,-32.

Even though this session was centered around football and live gameplay, the Community Meet Up remains a space for community questions and discussion. For that reason, we also shared a Slido where participants could submit their questions during the session.
