I think allowing more options to purchase wearables in the Decentraland marketplace could bring more freedom to our marketplace. Allowing users to buy and sell wearables in $MANA & $ICE could possibly bridge the Decentral Games & Decentraland community closer.

Yes, you can use only $MANA on Decentraland’s marketplace… This proposal is asking for $ICE to be allowed in our marketplace as well
What would be the benefits to DCL of this? Ice holders can easily swap into Mana currently.
Yes ICE holders can easily swap into MANA… IF they have MATIC… Adding this option could help Decentral Games as well as Decentraland… Allowing our wearables to either be purchased in MANA or ICE gives Decentraland users more options… Also, earning ICE without playing poker could benefit DCL because now we can crossover to Decentral Games and purchase their wearables and bridge the communities together rather than build a wall within the same world we occupy. More Freedom to choose would be the benefits to Decentraland.
Not necessary, actually very detrimental to the MANA’s value. I like the “casino” but whatever they touch goes to 0. At the end, ICE can be simply swaped for MANA on polygon, easy. No need to invent wheel.
What about having instead of $ICE but other poly chain currencies including $DG?
Agreed Michi! I think we should include more poly chain currencies including $DG & $ICE… the DAO can vote on which coins they would like to add to our marketplace if this is a possibility.
