Dozens of early contributors have no VP for their contribution whereas some district leaders have 100,000’s of thousands or even millions of VP with minimal contributions during terraforming.
I believe having all VP from land that was formed for districts being held by district leaders is centralizing power and makes it very difficult for community members to enact changes that they feel would benefit the community. It also makes some district leaders able to control voting with very little contributions to receive that power.
I propose we revise VP in relationship to district leaders and district contributors. We cannot have a district leader that has more power than the entire community that created it, let alone all the power.
- Contributors receive VP based on contribution * bonus to equal District Leader
- Contributors receive VP based on contribution at the cost of a reduction of district leaders
- No change in VP - Early contributors continue to have little sway in decisions
