Description

Application cases for dapp Meta Ads:
MetaAds platform provides functions to manage content and sell surfaces’ show capabilities as DOOH (Digital Out of Home) providers do in real life. Advertiser mints NFT as creative and choose surfaces from verified list of spots . Content moderation and creating time slot schedule to show creative are the core processes to manage content on the surface.
After this advertiser wants to understand how many shows and watches were performed and where and when. We build solution to cover all questions to traffic that was passed through the surface .

Specification

Billboard asset with managed content and logic to provide surface position, user position, user id and impression - time and angle of watching creative on a surface
This asset will be wired with metaads opensource oracle services that index keywords of surfaces, process impressions and check that watching user is not a garbage traffic.
Oracles aggregate information and publish data in blockchain to provide dApp information.

Ad Monetization and Marketing Efficiency Analysis in the Metaverse

The Web as we know it today is the main tool for people all over the world to share information and interact with other people via the Internet. World Wide Web is the product of decades of progress and innovation that now is bringing us closer to the decentralized and intelligent web space.

To get a better idea of why what we’re doing is so important, let’s see how the evolution of the Web and e-business are interconnected.

The web 1.0 events that boosted the Internet development:

  • a new tech stack that included text editor, web browser and web server (free of charge);
  • HTML - the standard markup language for creating web pages. Almost anyone could view, write or copy the source code;
  • introduction of web monetization. In took a great deal of time before some sustainable business models with low entry barrier started to appear.

Web 2.0 has brought platforms that were game changing for e-business. We were introduced to usability, accessibility, cross-platform support and all other possible benefits. Nonetheless, it cost us our digital confidentiality and data ownership in exchange for the web service quality.

Web 2.0 platforms create their own business value and then decide how to monetise users the way they see fit.

As we believe, Web 3.0 should fix existing issues and meet the following requirements:

  • Privacy. First and for all, personal data must belong to users;
  • Decentralised finance. Digital financial transactions are protected by cryptographic technology (crypto wallets);
  • Decentralised communities. Community members own online communities (DAO).

Web 3.0 must let users interact, exchange data and conduct e-business without a centralized authority, thus building a decentralised web space.

Why do we think Meta Ads cooperation with Decentraland is so important?

We, the Meta Ads team, see how efficient the Decentraland Metaverse infrastructure is and that there are different content creator tools and the DAO governance hub integrated.

In Meta Ads, we believe that communities should be able to develop and test business models that will sustain an economical and functional development of the Metaverse. This will create added value for the whole Metaverse community.

The Metaverse Ad Monetization is one of such business models that can be developed and transformed only in a symbiosis between the community and source code developers.

Meta Ads is a Web 3.0 Metaverse Monetization Platform. Our solution consists of three components:

Watch to Earn – mechanics that allows users to get paid while watching the Metaverse ads and providing data for marketing efficiency analysis;

Supply Side Platform – software that automates and streamlines digital inventory sales in the Metaverse;

Demand Side Platform – software that automates and streamlines the Metaverse performance marketing with effective CPM and CPA pricing models for media agencies, advertisers or online marketplaces.
