Got it! The static type “pet” wearables are still allowed in DCL? Will the curation crew approve this if we let it go thru? @michi?

Thanks @CheddarQueso This will not go through curation team it is through the linked wearable process. Also “pet” wearables have always been allowed. The proposal to ban them 10 months ago did not even pass with enough VP. Can be seen here: Should 'Pets' Be Approved as Shoe Category?

Linked wearables do pass through the curations committee, it doesn’t allow you to do anything.
The proposal that you linked was not to banned them but to allow them, and it was rejected, so the community is against them for the time being.

Got it… Looks like the community decided to table the pets until we figure out smart wearables… but this linked wearable waifumon is not tied to shoes… it goes above your shoulder, similar to @Miguel_Amargo 's recent Ghost Board release for Halloween… so in this case the Waifumon would pass curation as a “top head” category?

Where was the proposal to ban them that was voted on by the community where it passed? @HPrivakos thank you

Sorry I confused the whole thing with the “pet” wearable but that was a different issue.

Thanks @CheddarQueso . No @HPrivakos is just confused, there was never a proposal that was voted on and decided by the community that banned pets. I never saw it but I could be wrong. HP can find it and post it here and if not all is good Pets are still allowed. Thank you

I think you’re right… there was never a proposal to ban pets… but that has to do with something else, not with this linked wearable correct?

Yes and thank you @CheddarQueso Thanks for voting on the this proposal to make Waifumon linked in Decentraland. You voted no so def let me know if anything I can clarify, or change when I pitch this a 4th time next time around to hopefully get your yes vote then. If not all good was worth the ask on my end. Thanks again

Sorry if you cannot read the link YOU posted.
The proposal is “Should we ALLOW pets?” not should we ban them, and it didn’t met the VP requirement, so it means pets are still not allowed.

If it is plausible for the wearable to pass curation then I am happy to change my vote. I was confused about the pet thing but as I understand it now, shoulder pets are still allowed, and I think Waifumons has added to the DCL community enough to earn a linked wearable.

Sorry @HPrivakos if YOU cannot read the link I posted.
If you click the link and don’t just read the headline you can see that “Pets should be on hold till implemented properly” did not get 500k VP required to pass thus got rejected. I posted a screenshot here if you don’t know how to find it. I hope it helps.

So pets are still allowed in Decentraland.

Unless you show us a proposal that did pass with enough VP, we still waiting for you to share. It’s all good though if you were just confused, we know you super busy you and can’t have time to read the entirety of each proposal so totally understandable. Still appreciate all you do for the community. Thanks again.

Thank you @CheddarQueso

you saying this means a ton. Thank you for changing your vote to a YES. let me know if you ever have any more questions too. if not thanks again.

@CheddarQueso @AaronLeupp this is so much to read but just shouting out linked wearables go through the curation committee and still need to follow standard guidelines and process~ :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

thanks @michi yes and 1,000% agree. hopefully the curation committee will follow the guidelines and process the community voted on this time around. thanks again.

This is going to cost 10k USD in curations fees to the DAO. (1% of 20k items = 200 curated items at 50 USD each).
Also the Smart Contract Address is not a smartcontract.
And the code for the programmatically generated collection is not available.
