I think an addition of streaming operations can open a lot of windows for decentraland.

I think a lot of what you brought up in your forum post has been discussed recently at the All-Hands, so my hope is that some of these tools are on the way. I vote yes to get it to the next round, but ultimately this is an area that Foundation will have to agree to implement.
Seeing so many new streamers from the Parti app in world this week felt like a step in the right direction. It actually mirrors a lot of what you just suggested.
I just plant the seeds then come back in 6 months and see if anything sprouts..
Appreciate the yes votes though..
Helps to get the balls rolling..
Implement streaming features.
This proposal is now in status: REJECTED.

Big ol’ no vote from @coalition…

Poll wouldn’t have passed even without my vote. There’s a message describing the current state of DCL, there’s almost nothing to add - Unlocking a New Revenue Stream: Support for Streamers in Decentraland - #2 by mazafaka.
In short, unfortunately, there’s almost nothing to stream yet. The DCL concept is brilliant, but it really needs engaging mechanics—right now, it’s just boring. Hopefully, with the new council, something will change.
Also, the hardware requirements are insane in my opinion: 16 GB of RAM, while Roblox runs on just 1 GB…
So, streaming is something that should be added when there’s actually something worth streaming. It’s not a priority right now.
Just so we’re on the same page..
I think @mazafaka was talking about streaming decentraland on other platforms..
Where as this proposal was so that users can stream from their avatar in-game..
If there was an e-sports event in dcl..
People could select the avatars and watch the players live..
It’ll just be like twitch or youtube..
People will come just to watch streams..
What does that mean?
A feature to ghost another player live so you can see everything they do? Basically pinning your camera on their avatar?
Youtube and Twitch are losing MASSIVE amount of money doing streaming, I don’t think we should do “just like twitch or youtube”.
missed this one due to life but I resonate heavy with it. especially that preview in the bio when someone is live. that just makes sense and to be against having this functionality or at least idea is crazy.
