Introduction
BeatTrekkers 2 has proven to be a triumph for all involved, providing a platform for individuals to display their talents to the MetaTrekkers and Decentraland. Every participant has become part of the expanding Decentraland community, introducing newcomers to our vibrant community. Our community continues to expand, and we’re in active communication with the upcoming lineup of DJs for BeatTrekkers 3. We’re eagerly anticipating this, which is currently in development as one chapter ends.
Highlights
BeatTrekkers 2 concluded with 88MPH emerging as the victorious team, claiming the championship title. MetaJackz secured the second position, and Khardols clinched third place. Currently, the MetaTrekkers team is diligently working on awarding the winning team, organizing raffles and distributing prizes, and acknowledging the outstanding contributions of the Best Artists and Venue partners with whom we collaborated.
-The official MetaTrekkers websites are now prepared, allowing us to establish a global presence and provide 24/7 access. This empowers us to connect with a worldwide audience and promote awareness of the Metaverse, as well as the various activities and engagements within the MetaTrekkers community, with a particular focus on DCL events. -An article concerning BeatTrekkers 2 is in the pipeline and will soon be published, either on Bloomberg or through one of the platforms facilitated by the Bloomberg team.

-All BeatTrekkers participants have now received their payments, which were efficiently transferred to their accounts. In the interest of transparency, we have also sent updated contracts to their email addresses, ensuring that everyone is well-informed and documented regarding these transactions.
-Through this initiative, members can enhance their communication within specific task areas, thereby elevating the MetaTrekkers team’s project monitoring capabilities by incorporating Trello for improved project deliverable tracking.
-The team is currently in the process of compiling lists of participants and winners who meet the criteria for the raffles and prizes mentioned at the event’s outset. We are committed to ensuring that no details are overlooked in participants’ contracts. Moreover, our ongoing preparations encompass creating participation certificates and winner certificates. Additionally, we are responsible for coordinating special bonuses and awards for our Artists and Venue partners as part of our team’s duties.
-In anticipation of BeatTrekkers 3, the team is actively engaged in recruiting new members who are joining our community. We will be conducting onboarding processes to ensure that they become acquainted with the Decentraland community.
Blockers
The last event happening with the BeatTrekkers 2 does run smoothly. No challenge encountered during the streaming. Currently just preparing the onboarding of the all the new artist and djs. We have more register participants than expected so we are trying to find a way to filter out the best for transparency and making things fair. We also still need to onboard them as well. Time is tight but we are pushing ourselves to the max everyday.
Next steps
-The team is actively engaged in the recruitment of additional participants for our upcoming BeatTrekkers 3 event. We are also in the process of onboarding those who have already registered for the event. Furthermore, our team is consistently creating posts and announcements to connect with interested individuals and expand our community.
-We are currently placing a high priority on the preparation of the BeatTrekkers 3 schedule and project update details. Simultaneously, we are diligently working on finalizing the assets needed for our marketing campaigns. Our team is closely monitoring ways to enhance the delivery of this season’s event compared to the previous one, with the ultimate goal of providing excitement to all our viewers.
-The team successfully gathered feedback from participants through the completion of feedback forms. The aim is to use this feedback to enhance the upcoming season and deliver an improved version of the event compared to the previous one with the same goal of introducing them in a new community and helping our Decentraland community grow more.
-The Community Director is placing a strong emphasis on welcoming and orienting newcomers within Decentraland. Our goal is to introduce them to the Decentraland community and offer them the chance to interact and engage with other members of the community.
