Disclaimer: on-the-need-for-professional-level-interviews-of-the-council-postulants
From a member who was hired as Strategic Director, I would expect a number initiatives having been successfully put forth which would have brought significant and lasting changes.
A presence to support any newcomer to the decentralized project is also critical to maintain.
I observe that instead, DCL has become mostly a ghost-town.
And I found that the avenues of support for providing my expertise to the DAO to generally be lacking.
A further note on this point:
It is even more unacceptable for decisions in the DAO to be controlled by a handful of council members.
Even more so by the one Executive Director that is planned to later be introduced !
It should purely and simply not be forgotten that VP Delegation is a very effective counter-balance against “several large VP holders”.
And Delegated VP can be taken back at any time.
So the abuse of power which might come from this is inherently limited, thanks to its decentralized nature.
