From Community Building Space to Forum: Outcomes & Next Steps

At this weeks Community Building Space, several important topics were raised. We collectively agreed to capture them here in the forum, so we can move forward with the next steps together.

Candidate Event for DAO Council Applicants
We’d like to host another event where the current DAO Council applicants can introduce themselves to the community; just like in the last elections. @SinfulMeatStick kindly offered to conduct the interviews again and to provide his weekly show Beyond The NFT as the stage.

You are warmly invited to join Sinful on Monday, August 25 at 12 AM UTC to talk about your candidacy. Please let us know under this post if you’d like to take part, ask any questions, or reach out to Sinful directly on Discord (sinfulmeatstick).

Interview on Maraoz’s Resignation
The community also raised interest in learning more about @maraoz’s resignation. Some readers felt that his earlier statement might leave room for further context and this could be an opportunity for him to share his thoughts and reasoning. We feel this is an important topic, yet we want to approach it with sensitivity. If Maraoz is open to a live in-world interview, even in a short format, it could provide valuable clarity for the community. Alternatively, the interview could also be pre-recorded, if that feels more comfortable for him. If not, we fully respect his privacy. A simple signal from him would be enough for us to know whether we can plan the details together.

Upcoming In-World Community Gathering
On Tuesday, at 10:30PM UTC, we will host an in-world event at the TOPHUB world where the community can come together to talk about the upcoming DAO Council elections and the Council in general. This session will not be streamed externally and is primarily intended for active in-world participants. Of course, everyone is warmly invited to join.

Just realized that August 25 at 12 AM UTC would actually mean Sunday Aug 24 evening in the US, not a Monday meeting

Did it alreadtly happen, or is it our Monday evening?
