I’m excited to officially announce the upcoming ‘Meet the DAO Executive Director’ event, which will take place in-world this Friday, May 30, 2025 at 10PM UTC.
Background
Following @ginoct’s public offer to schedule one-on-one calls via Calendly, I took the opportunity to speak with him directly. During our conversation, I brought up the idea of hosting an open, in-world exchange between him and the community. Gino was immediately open to it, and I’m very pleased that we were able to align quickly on a date and format.
Event Details
The event will be held exclusively within Decentraland and will not be live streamed externally.
This invites a private, engaged environment, emphasizing meaningful dialogue over broad public exposure. A full recording will be made available on YouTube afterwards for those who cannot attend live.
Event Flow
The event will consist of two main segments:
• A moderated interview with Gino, covering his early days in Decentraland, his appointment as Executive Director and the creation of DCL Regenesis Labs.
• A follow-up Q&A session, where all attendees are invited to ask questions and engage directly.
