This session gave the community a closer look at how the DCL Regenesis Labs Transparency Reports were created and independently examined, using the Q1 report as an example
Zino explained his role as Operational Lead, covering legal structure, contracts, compliance, treasury operations, the grants program and cross-team coordination.
Maryana joined as the independent examiner appointed by the DAO Council. With eight years of auditing experience at a Big Four firm, she reviews whether the report is complete and accurate and reports her findings directly to the Council.
The report is built using data from the operational and treasury Safe wallets, internal cash flow trackers, contracts, purchase orders and Request Finance invoices. Transactions are imported into a financial workbook, matched against supporting documents and assigned to the correct budget categories before being reviewed by Maryana.
As of March 31, DCL Regenesis Labs held approximately $3.2 million in assets, with around 34% in MANA and 66% in stablecoins. Total Q1 spending was approximately $1.15 million across team costs, legal expenses, tools, research and development and creator rewards. Spending for Q2 and Q3 is currently expected to remain aligned with the approved budget.
The full report, including wallet addresses and public dashboards, is available on the forum so community members can verify the information directly.
During the Q&A, Zino also confirmed that the upcoming Buildathon budget has been approved, with the start moved from mid-July to mid August.
The community also shared ideas for bringing transparency reporting into Decentraland, including readable in-world reports, clickable forum links and visual indicators showing the current stage of the attestation process.
