Should the scene located at -127,10 be added to the Point of Interest list?
The scene depicts a good example of a traditional building copy in DCL : the church bell tower of Megève ski resort. A DCL event to collect a POAP already happened there for the 1st Digital Art, NFT & Metaverse EXPO on 17/8/2022 and more are planned.

Many venues have waited months and held multiple events before feeling that they are ready to apply for a POI star. To protect the integrity of the Point of Interest Star system, I will be voting NO on your star. Hello, the location has already been used for a POAP event combined with a real world EXPO event: the 1st digital art EXPO in Megève. We taught the EXPO visitors what Decentraland was and displayed it on a large auditorium screen to show them the place and how to use Decentraland. We got articles in mainsteam French newspapers for example:
We may small events in this location but we are more interested in major events where there is a combination of visitors from the real world, i.e., skiers/tourists in Megève upper-class ski/mountain resort and a virtual gathering at the same time.
Next major event will be this winter likely with projected Decentraland on the walls of the ski resort main street explaining visitors what Decentraland is and how to access it.
Hello, I’ve already replied in the comment below about the event EXPO that we have done in Megève upper-class mountain resort and at the same time with a Decentraland POAP event Get your POAP of Megève Digital Art EXPO 2022! | Decentraland Events Several French mainstream newspapers mentioning Decentraland were published. We are more interested in major events combining real-world settings and virtual settings at the same time. Next major event is this winter.
Regarding bringing value to Decentraland, those events teach Decentraland to upper-class tourists / skiers who have never heard of Decentraland. We believe that for its long term success Decentraland should welcome broader types of users. In parallel, I’m the Director of the blockchain course at the University of Geneva where I’ve introduced Decentraland as the flagship decentralized metaverse taught as part of the courses e.g. Blockchain Certification Thus, it broadens quite well the current audience of Decentraland to some extent that few can do.
Anyway I don’t mind that there is no POI. People without POI have just a hard time to find where there is something to see given that most lands around are empty.

Its not about just throwing one event, then going for the POI days after.
I waited about 8+ months of building and throwing dozens of big events before going for my poi.
Keep up the building and events and you will have a better chance of passing.

I am voting no, this is the first time that I have learned about this place. Gain more traffic through community events and resubmit in the future.

Instead of resubmitting we’re working on a better map that will be easier to navigate and spot interesting locations. The current map is almost empty and difficult for new users to understand: what the districts are about, where to find non-empty locations, where to find point of interests based on their preferences…
