Abstract

We are PETAVERSE - first & foremost Decentraland creators. You may have seen our collection of backpacks to carry your pet around Decentraland!

But our mission doesn’t stop here! We plan on creating many more interactive experiences for Pet lovers in Decentraland!

We have recently deployed a V1 of the Petaverse Park. Our ambition is to improve this place, to develop games, showcase wearables & NFTs from independent creators & host events for real-life pet companies!

To achieve this goal, we need to expand our team & grow our visibility amongst non-metaverse native users!

Description

We are a group of web3 experts and pet lovers who want to bring pet owners, pet brands, and creators closer together through interactive pet-friendly experiences in Decentraland!

The Petaverse Park in Decentraland is the HQ of Petaverse. Our objective is to continue improving this place and work on two main areas:

Main building:
A natural garden style round building with 2 floors which includes a shopping mall, where you can collect pet-themed NFTs & wearables from talented web3 creators, and a nightclub on the second floor, where you can host cool events for your community!

Games:
A place where you can interact with virtual pets (play, walk, wash) to earn points & collect free wearables!

The Petaverse Park will be a great place to onboard pet companies into the metaverse and offer them the opportunity to connect with their communities as well as offer them exclusive benefits for their pets IRL (discounts, free pet accessories, etc…)!
To achieve this ambition, we will need to onboard additional Decentraland builders in the team!

Close 1-3 partnerships with Pet-brands to host events for them in the Petaverse park! Reach 5k followers on our Twitter & Instagram Improve design & decoration of the Petaverse Park. Launch of the Game! Our community will be able to play games to earn rare NFTs from pet brands & independent creators.

Q3 2023
Improvement of Game area (more interactions, additional pets, improvement of reward system)
Continue growing our pet lover community and bring in more partnerships Raise additional funds from VCs & angel investors

Petaverse Monthly update #1

Here is our monthly update for the Petaverse Park

General update:

Last month the team has worked on improving the Petaverse roadmap, game concept & play-to-earn mechanism. We have defined the development timeline including backend architecture, front end & web3 requirements.
The design team worked on the different gaming assets.
We have also come up with a list of events for the next few months including a yearly event that we cannot wait to share publicly!

Design progress:

• x2 new 3D pets & animation
• Wearable machine

• The Grooming center

• New herbal design & trees in the garden

Tech progress:

• Back-end architecture (DigitalOcean, API, etc.)
• Set up of streaming via RTMP
• Token gated access to the VIP with the Petaverse cap

Event update:

• The launch party is planned for this month with a live performance of artist Francisca Oyhanarte & Richie hell and GucciToe!
• Preparation of the yearly event (more info coming soon!)

Petaverse monthly update #2

General update:

This month the team has worked on refining the game reward mechanism (daily challenge vs weekly challenge, the definition of multiplier based on wearable owned, etc…) and started building the front end of the game.
We have finally opened the Petaverse Park to the public with a great opening party!

Design progress:

• x3 new 3D pets & Animation
• Design of grooming & feeding assets (Meat, fish, milk, hairdryer, soap, sponge)

Tech update:

• Added pet and food models
• Pet behavior/states for food and grooming
• Food pickup
• Feeding mechanics
• Added greenhouse building
