Lower curators compensation from 50 MANA to 10 MANA (keeping the 10% ratio).
Abstract
This proposal suggested pegging the fee to a USD value. However, setting the fee manually every week is not an option for the SAB, and implementing the automated way will take months.
This proposal aims to be simple, clear, and easily enacted today. Just change the publication fee to a new value: 100 MANA.
Motivation
- The price of MANA went from 0.7 to 5 USD.
- Reduce the entry barrier for new creators.
Specification
The Security Advisory Board should update the fee using their multisig.
They need a clear proposal making the fee explicit and having sufficient VP to enact it. The threshold is not set, but we should aim for 4VP or higher.
