The Prop that set the current bar of 6 million VP only had 3,565,413 VP for yes.

I do not think it is a wise choice to continue down this path where we pass votes that change the threshold that also receive less than the amount needed for the suggested threshold change.

It seems unwise to lock a door without being sure you have the key to reopen it
