Platform upgrades help with use of the platform and ease for the creator and user. This is not necessary. People also give plenty of wearables away. If anything this is a waste of funds that could be for an event to give these away for participation. No need to add more than what there currently is.
Giving away wearables has nothing to do with entering the game and wearing base wearables. I simply want to make it more appealing with the base, nothing to do with adding in more NFTs : )

I have been using the same Base Hair Wearable from DCL for two years. I have proof of this. Although I am aware that this wearable is not my property, I would very much like to continue wearing it. Hair is our identity can be read at the beginning of this proposal. My current Base Hair Wearable has been part of my DCL identity for two years and I would like to keep it that way. Is there perhaps a way to keep the current Base Hair Wearables? Much love, Jeremy.
Hi Jeremy. I understand you use the base as your hair but if was having an upgrade, would that not be something youād want? The silhouette would be the same but the mesh and texture itself would be upgraded.

Itās not a need. We need upgrades to the platform that will bring in creators.

Nit-picking a bit there; Yes, itās correct I want to make it more appealing, it is a want I want to do. I want to upgrade the base avatars because itās a need to have updated avatars.
This is an upgrade. Redoing the hair with new textures and also having new texture bakes for the 2.0 client is literally the definition of an upgrade.
@Doki I think I was clear enough in my first response, right? I have already mentioned it in relation to something else: in Decentraland it is pretended that everyone can express themselves as they would like. Thatās true as long as you follow the change addicts and the ones who thinking theyāre god himself. If you are happy here with something that is already there and want to keep it, you will not be understood and will be seen as a weirdo. I have suffered from that as long as I am here in dcl. Perhaps a pot of money should be opened up for this. For how you learn to understand people who are different instead of bullying them.

Each to their own. I understand people are different and want different things, not everyone will want the same thing. Unfortunately Iām not unable to make everyone happy (just like how maybe not everyone is happy with the base avatars) thatās just not possible when it comes to something like this.

My answers shows that I canāt make everyone happy and that I understand that some people wonāt like it and some people will. Iād like to hear input from the foundation team, art director, folks whom have been designing our aesthetics. Why canāt we ask for them to do this through a Canny request? 15K is a lot of money and it seems redundant to pay for this when we have a team already dedicated to it. I agree with the update, but, as always, before voting, I think it would be beneficial to have input from foundation.
