[DAO:8fd93a5] Designing Visual Content for DAO Documentation

Dear Community,

The Grant Support Squad was created to support grantees in achieving their goals and managing the DAO treasury.

After a thorough review of this project, the Squad recommends extending the current vesting contract from 3 months to 4 months.

The Grant Support Squad, in agreement with @MarinaPo has decided to extend the duration by one additional month. During the roadmap review meeting with the grantee, it was determined that the extra month would allow them to deliver all the materials in high quality.

Therefore, we recommend that the DAO Committee (@HPrivakos @Tobik @rizk ) modify the vesting contract with the following details:

Thank you very much.

Today, we had our monthly meeting with @MarinaPo from DAO Visual, and the project is on TRACK. She showcased progress, almost completing the proposed pieces, and is awaiting final approval from the core units to proceed with the final version. Marina updated us on Discord, and she acknowledged that her GovApp Update was late but assured us that everything is in order. She also added all the pieces to her public roadmap.

In December, we need to decide which pieces will be in the official documentation and upload the final projects and pieces to the Awesome repository. A meeting with @palewin from the Grant Support Squad is scheduled to explore other options for making all pieces available beside the DCL DAO Official Documentation. Pablo will also discuss two other documentation projects with Marina for potential collaboration Decentral Ed - v2.0 from @Canessa & @AwedJob and Information Preservation in Decentraland: A Historical Perspective @Alias

After this, we plan to have a final meeting with the core units to review the pieces and to decide final steps to close the project, tentatively scheduled for the beginning of December. I will contact you soon @Fehz @web3nit @ginoct @rizk

We’ve invited Marina to present her project at the Town Hall on the 14th of December.

Additionally, we invited her to connect with @fractilians for project promotion and recommended signing up for https://studios.decentraland.org/ as a designer for potential collaborations.

Marina inquired about the GSS landing page and mentioned a challenge connecting her wallet to her forum user. For that we recommened to speak with @ginoct

To sum up, the project is on TRACK, and here are the next action items and steps:

Action Items:

  • GSS will remind other core units to check on pieces already made and provide feedback.
  • GSS will contact the grantee with Fractilians for promotions.
  • FIFI will introduce Marina to Pablo to explore collaboration with other documentation and pieces for the GSS Landing Page.

Next Steps:

  • Determine where to allocate the pieces for the DAO.
  • Create a 1 to 5-minute video presentation for the Town Hall and upload it.
  • Schedule a final meeting with all core units to agree on pieces.
  • Upload final pieces to the Awesome repository.
  • Update the Official DCL DAO Documentation.
