BitBears World is an exciting new venue that offers a one-of-a-kind visual experience. This vibrant new venue hosts a variety of music events, bringing the DCL community together for an immersive and electrifying experience of sound and visuals.

I know Bitbears have ambitious plans for this year and im beyond excited to see what Cosy has planned as the Bitbears have been around for a while and always put the community first.
Cosy is also Co-Owner of MetaZoo International and works alongside Sango & iZoo to produce frequent Club Nights events in Decentraland attracting over 70 users per week over the past two years to their Temple Of Beats venue. With their impeccable events track record combined with the exceptional demonstration of the BitBears World event held last night. It is clear that this venue will contribute positively to the overall DCL landscape and become a frequent attraction for the community to enjoy. I am aware, Cosy intends to focus audio and visual events here on a frequent basis between Club Nights intervals.
Firstly, I would like to express thanks to DefiniteCash for their initial responses, which have summed up the majority of what needs to be said herein.
Situated in the heart of Cyber City, this particular venue is going to be used for frequent audio and visual exhibits taking place within the area for BitBears/Bear Gang members + the wider Decentraland community to participate, as well as draw attraction to Cyber City over-all as well as the neighbouring venues which are under development. In addition to the BitBears World venue, I have been responsible for creating/operating the entire street network; our collective intentions within the area are to develop an inclusive community space within the Aetheria district for users to enjoy the vast variety of experiences and draw traffic to all contributing venues. The POI will assist with increasing the visibility of the space within the sea of blue currently visible when perusing Aetheria on the Decentraland Map.
Events at BitBears World will occur on Friday’s between our existing Club Nights intervals; featuring live DJ sets as well as unique light-show visual experiences. The first demonstration of the light-show was completed last night and the response from the community has been incredibly overwhelming. We are passionate developers in Decentraland and have been actively building and hosting events since February 2021. BitBears /aka/ the Bear Gang has been an active community within the space throughout this entire timeframe and continues to contribute on a full-time basis. Over 110 events curated over the course of the last 2+ years between BitBears/MetaZoo entities which should demonstrate our tenacity to deliver. As mentioned previously, this location will be utilised as a hub for events between our existing Club Nights schedule with multiple events taking place per month and new/improved light show + visual FX experiences displayed on each occasion whilst exhibiting many Decentraland renowned musicians/DJ’s who have already contributed to our existing schedule on many occasions and share a very strong relationship with our team.

After the Grand Opening yesterday, I cannot wait to see more from the Bear Gang and think a POI will help get this remarkable location the attention it deserves.

BitBear World is where the magic happens! It’s a stage for artists looking to showcase their talents to people from all around the world. With a high commitment to create amazing events, a great team organizes events with the most prominents DJs in Decentraland. As an artist myself, I’m so honored and happy to be part of the artists performing for the BitBear World, which has gave me the opportunity to showcase my work and connect with fans. Thanks to the Bitbears and Metazoo I’ve been able to grow my fanbase and create amazing new connections!
I’ve been attending BitBear events since 2021 and they are always a good vibe. I was completely blown away by the venue last night, in my opinion it rivaled what the Foundation created for the Metaverse Music festival. Places like this that have already proven they can provide quality experiences over the past two years deserve a POI.
This is an easy yes from us. The event that Bitbears recently produced was amazing, on par with MVMF from last year, and this location will be a central part of CyberCity, bringing traffic to Aetheria. Additionally, they have a track record of hosting regular events and inviting musicians. We genuinely need that point of interest on the map, as it will be an asset for the DCL landscape.

I have a question in regards to the history of BitBears. How many events were held during 2022 under the BitBears branding?
Events consist of Gang Activity events, Bear Crawl events in support of the wider community, Block Party events, plus Club Nights events, as Cosy is co-owner of MetaZoo and therefore, co-organizes and utilises Club Nights events as BitBears events; BitBears wearable holders receive VIP perks on attendance. The timeline of events is public as per the BitBears twitter profile and community comments herein but total combined would equate to 60+ and each event is curated purely for community involvement and passion for the process.
