Linked Pre-Proposal

again, I ask the commitee and metazins to vote on an onscreen running utc clock.

Summary

Whether a form of poap or to help friendly, or business, transaction for both -sender and receiver- (organization and customer)

Abstract

Add continuous city-wide (i.e. Federal ) utc clock.

Motivation

Countless reasons but none more important than transparency.

Specification

Continuous clock running on screen, you walk into my Lounge, perform some form of transaction (lets say leave a message on our mutual chalkboard), and now its systematically time-stamped city-wide. A system like this could only help time-stamp IN WORLD as more meta app get created. Also, a clock for events right IN WORLD.

Conclusion

A continuous on screen city-wide federally ran utc clock is great for our up-and-coming meta-society in all areas.

I still think this is a bad idea. You would then logically have to adjust the skymap to UTC too, which would result in seeing day-night cycle only once per day, unlike now. Develop and implement it yourself in your own scene.

I just posted on X (Twitter) the proposal I made on Canny regarding this in case anyone else is interested, there are 3 people interested in this being done, perhaps by getting a few more, Foundation will proceed to check this matter in depth.

Iā€™m attaching it here too in case anyone wants to support it: Onscreen running UTC clock. | Voters | Decentraland

I voted yes in the first round, but I agree with @PunkPink, this is Canny request. Would have voted invalid but that option was not available so I will vote to Abstain.
Thank you for taking the time to suggest this, I did upvote this request.
Good Luck
