I think a running utc clock on screen will help form the baseline to these micro-transactions coming for; sales, retail, wholesale, admittance, and whatever else you’re paroosing the multi-meta for… (without leaving the screen)

  • YES - keep a running clock
  • NO - don’t

I hate that we need to wait for foundation permission to add something as simple as the time.

Could a clock be built into a smart wearable and display time as a tiny menu when equipped?

yes, it could. but as a landholder and shoppe keeper, i want all my custys to have use of a scene-clock.

Great idea, but feels like you will have better luck with a highly upvoted canny request.

Though I’m sure, @leangodotdev would be open to adding one to the DAO-funded client.

My answer here: x.com

There is way to add UTC time to your windows task bar clock, then when you hover your mouse pointer over it, the times are displayed. That is simplest way to solve this issue for those that cannot calculate the time variance in their heads. But having a tiny clock in the UI set for UTC would be ok.

I don’t see the benefit of this. For many scenes, it is unnecessary to have a clock on the screen. Implementing this to your scene by yourself is best practice. I would suggest syncing that clock to your own server if it is that important. Or create a smart wearable like suggested above.

Already, there isn’t much on-screen-space for developers due to minimap, chat and profile picture. Adding a clock and leaving smaller space to developers is not a good idea.

You can code that yourself with the SDK, you know.
