LAND can be delegated from an owner to a user to be able to publish scenes.
NAMEs can only be assigned to the avatar that owns the NFT.
Allow NAMEs to be delegated from owners to users to be able to access and publish scenes in the DCLWorlds as well as allow the user to assign/wear that name to their avatar.
Would love to hear feedback from the community & see if an idea like this is even possible.
This would be very beneficial when doing educational/outreach events. The facilitator could attain wallet addresses in advance and have names delegated to attendees on the day of the course. Some of our Decentraland Ambassadors did educational events, and a blocker was giving attendees access to land to deploy to.
If I were a college instructor (For blockchain content, 3D modeling, video game design), I could mint the names: “Student1, Student2, Student3” etc. etc., and have an entire class deploy their final assignments to land. Students could visit each others’ builds just like a tour. From an educational standpoint this could be a real game changer.
thanks for sharing that, i would rather use this idea you shared of assigning NAMEs to new users to experiment with rather than deploy on empty parcels in Genesis City that may not belong to us.

LAND & NAMEs are 1/1 NFTs, i don’t see why we can’t replicate some of their utilities. I agree with you completely Canessa, this could be a game changer.. Hopefully it passes, if they need me to reformat this into a canny request before it’s implementation, i’ll comply to see this idea come to life.
