Mining or transferring assets on Decentraland is currently only allowed using the original public address, but no operations can be executed using Decentraland Names.

Should this proposal that aims to implement the possibility of carrying out operations using Decentraland Names go to the next level?

There is no direct registration, so it would work by the owner of the name NFT. I think the code to check that may be unreliable.

I don’t know how the backend works, so if I’m wrong, someone correct me please, but maybe the address could be obtained from etherscan with a script when the user enters the NAME

I think this would be more of a feature request than a binding governance proposal.
