Introduction
Hello! This update includes data and information from Sept 15 - Oct 15.
Highlights
- Hosted a total of 23 events in the TRU Band Room
- Dropped a total of 700 SHOAPs
- Onboarded Still Crystal and STTSM for their metaverse debut and brought back former DCL user, Socratrees for his TRU Debut.
We took a week off from regularly scheduled events to focus on updating and expanding the TRU Band Room in preparation for the move to SpottieLand. The new build is now on a 3x3 parcel at 100,77. We are rolling out build updates in phases–phase 1 (complete) includes a fully redesigned VIP area with multiple token-gated access points, an outdoor event space, and a new, captivating entryway with a flashy billboard area to showcase live performances. - Our move to SpottieLand solved the issue with green walls surrounding our build
- Realm instability and lack of communication to prepare for upcoming changes to DCL developments continue to present time-consuming fixes (manually collecting addresses and sending SHOAPs, hacking together patches to get by in real-time)
Next steps
In addition to all regularly scheduled events, we are implementing an onboarding plan to showcase more musicians during Music Month. TRU Band Room has been chosen as the main stage in #DCLMF23. We are working on a 6x6 build using SDK7 and working with DCL Foundation members to assist in festival-wide success.
