Introduction

Welcome to the July update for Facemoon Gallery in Decentraland, funded by Decentraland DAO!

Highlights

Highlighted Events:

  • Facemoon Gallery organized a total of 12 events in July, including 8 themed parties and 4 movie screenings from the 1970s.

  • We featured live DJ performances at 4 of the 8 parties, bringing energy and music to our themed events.

  • We hosted a fashion contest in collaboration with Cocobay and Metamerch, with prominent Web3 fashion judges and Facemoon Gallery judges. This contest was a great success and highly enjoyable for participants and spectators alike.

  • We showcased the work of two NFT artists in our gallery throughout the month.

  • This month, we held two extra special movie screening events in collaboration with BillyTeaCoin69 to celebrate Saturday nights.

Community Interaction:

  • We continued our Twitter giveaways, encouraging community interaction and participation.

  • Attendees also received exclusive 70s-inspired wearables, adding a unique touch to their avatars.

Thematic Scene Creation:

  • We created a 70s-themed scene with a disco ambiance, providing an immersive environment for our events.

  • 80s Themed Events: In August, we’ll dive into the vibrant era of the 1980s with our “Pop and Hip Hop Explosion” events.

  • Promotion and Outreach: We will continue promoting our events through social media platforms and other channels to reach a broader audience.

  • Content Development: We will develop new scenes and wearables inspired by the 1980s to continue our journey through the eras.
