NFT Collections Description

CatBlox Genesis Collection: Our highest form of membership represented by 9,999 generative cats (including 133 1/1 originals). These photorealistic cat figurines represent a canvas upon which we can build future seasons and brand collaborations. Genesis Collection members have full access to the benefits of the CatBlox brand.

CatBlox MetaPortals Collection: Our first free claim for Genesis Collection members, these “portals to the metaverse” were released in March 2022 to celebrate our future entry to Decentraland. Through a unique benefit trait, members were able to burn their MetaPortals for early access to the wearable traits in Decentraland along with other season-related benefits.

Motivation

Community is the cornerstone at CatBlox. As a Web3 project we want to take our community beyond the confines of a Discord server and have selected Decentraland as our metaverse home.

Our Decentraland CatBlox HQ was designed by the legendary Tino Schaedler, known best as art director of Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince and virtual set designer of V for Vendetta, Charlie and Chocolate Factory, and more.

At this metaverse location within Decentraland we plan to host community events for our members celebrating our seasons and brand collaborators, such as a PUMA-branded event in the near future. We want our NFTs represented in Decentraland so our community can identify each other and celebrate their love for the CatBlox community.
