We noticed when skinning wearables that we don’t have access to a joint without transforms such as the root node.
This change will allow Decentraland wearable creators to make geometry that follows the characters world space position without inheriting motion from the characters animation.
This will lead to more innovative and unique wearable designs.
Should we request to expose (add a joint) to the root node of the player rig for creators to have access to a non-transforming node?
