We’re paying council members $4,000 per month in total (four now, moving to five). They’re fully capable of covering the work of the three DAO Committee roles, which currently cost us a total of $9,000 per month.
Doesn’t matter which way you look at it, that is a monthly saving of $9000 USD or $108,000 USD per annum.
Besides, the DAO Committee haven’t done any work in the past two years to compensate this outrages expenditure, beside collecting their weekly cheque’s
Two of the members have already seem to have moved on to their own projects/agenda with one claiming himself a serial entrepreneur while the other is too busy shilling (possibly working) at hyperfy
and perhaps this is the last time we will ever see this, so I figured it’s worth a screenshot
The Council is independent from Regenesis Labs; I don’t attend their meetings or have access to their private documents or discussions. If they overlooked something, it was, as you said, unintentional (Not pointing out that if something happened to me, the Operational Wallet would be locked, it was for sure).
If we need yet another independent entity to check this, I think revamping the SAB and having them in the loop for critical stuff would be better.
The Council will not and should not replace the SAB. If that were the case, I’m strongly against it since the SAB has technical knowledge that the Council currently does not have.
Aaaand this is where you become the owner of the treasury. I don’t quite get it. When the DAO Committee hold the transfer of the funds, it was because you weren’t appointed to make decisions but only to execute decisions made on chain by the community through an explicit proposal. But now, you’re explicitly making a statement that sounds like a decision to me.
In addition to that, no one is asking for more funds, I don’t understand why you keep shouting this when it’s a strict lie. Could you please tell me where the Council or Regenesis Labs is asking for more funds?
P.S.: If you’re also an onchain guy, please stop posting cropped screenshots and post etherscan links as I’ve been doing.

BTW, Thanks for calling me incapable, I still respect you and would love to see you contributing instead of wanting to see the world burn with ungrounded accusations
Sure, you can always get more funds with Esteban’s VP, that’s not something I can control. We can always push an “urgent” proposal to move a few million dollars for whatever random purpose comes to mind, wouldn’t want to disrupt the usual routine.
So why does the council keep trying to grab all the treasury? If they already have enough, why not focus on Regenesis and actually deliver progress, instead of spending time looking for new ways to grab the treasury?
I’m not going through that again , we’ve already been over it multiple times and still didn’t get the answers we needed.
My friend, what I said in the first place was directed at the council, they’re the ones who should be answering the community’s doubts. I asked serious questions and was completely ignored, as if I didn’t exist. Meanwhile, you stepped in to defend them , which really shouldn’t be the case. The council is supposed to act as your supervisor and auditor, not as your friends. Right now, they’re making decisions without votes, clear processes, communication, or even asking for anyone’s input. And honestly, if you don’t see their behavior as incapable too, that’s a problem too, because the way things are being managed right now clearly isn’t correct.
I never tagged or mentioned you until you stepped in to speak on their behalf. Personally, you’ll always have my respect, until the day my questions go unanswered or I get ignored, which is what we’re starting to see now. I hope that changes. and you know that I’ve always supported this progress. But when answers stop coming, things become unclear, or actions start going against what was promised in the proposal, I have to speak up, because that’s not what I voted for.
