This proposal aims to enhance users security by updating the EstateRegistry smart contract to prevent the transfer of estates with a size of 0 (a.k.a dissolved/Empty of LANDs). The current allowance of such transfers could be a risk for users who use external marketplaces and inadvertently engage in transactions buying empty Estates.
The only drawback is that it prevents trade/sales of cool estate ids (that can still get lands added to them), but there has never been any kind of those sale before AFAIK.
Not too long ago I remember this happening quite often that people were purchasing land that did not exist and I believe this was the reason. I say absolutely we should do this. While I tell anyone looking for land to use the Marketplace and not a 3rd party site many people probably wont think about that. I believe WE should do what we can to helpp ensure people are not scammed. While everyone shoule DYOR, there are things that can be done to lessen those possibilities. Thank you.
