Introduction
Greetings to the DAO! Our project is moving towards completion. But as always, the last 10% of the work requires 90% of the effort and time. Let’s talk about what the team is doing at the moment, what successes we have achieved and what we plan to do in the coming month.
Highlights
The main work lately is that we are correcting and bringing all aspects of the project to the right state. At the TT, which took place on 28.11, we demonstrated what we had achieved so far. The participants expressed their opinion and pointed out to us the shortcomings that exist in our game. Now we are eliminating these shortcomings. Thus, the volume of work has increased even more. Since we do not have time to finish the project on time, it was decided to suspend the payment of funds. By today, we should have added wearables to the store, but due to gameplay adjustments and some mechanics, we are still having trouble deciding how best to import these wearables. Therefore, their publication is slightly delayed. Nevertheless, we have already published a draft scene on the LAND. In the process, it became necessary to make 2 more small locations, they are already ready. In addition, to reduce the size of the game files, we continue to optimize the available 3D models. We also made a rough build of 2 stories.
Blockers
Our main enemy is time. When one problem is fixed, two new ones arise. All problems can be solved in various ways, sometimes you have to deviate from the original concept, but all these deviations are not critical, and sometimes even benefit the project. You can’t envy our programmer, because many of the mechanics that we use are not easy to implement in the SDK, but one way or another we manage to achieve the result.
