Scenario:

  • Searching on decentraland.org/marketplace for the one item that will complete my look.
  • Found it ! Oh my goodness what a mint price >_<
  • I want to place a Bid that will be a lot more within my budget… surely I will find a seller ?
  • Geez, where do I click for that ? I know the option is available… No, not here, undo. Ah here we go !
  • What… I have to look for individual potential sellers myself ? And place a bid specifically for each one of their items ??

So… I guess this becomes a poll for should we request from the Foundation to implement this feature, via Canny or any other means ? :sweat_smile:

I updated my first post, I’ll look into creating a Canny, but first there are a few more Polls I want to open.
Edit: or should they simply be new Forum Topics ? :thinking:

Foundation teams might advance an initiative if they have the community’s backing through a poll. I would like to see this as a feature so voting YES.

So I’ve been thinking about this actually…
While the subject of this Poll does fall under the current responsibilities of the Foundation, the latter won’t be around forever, and thus the DAO will have to acquire the capability to do this on its own at some point anyway.
Furthermore, the Foundation already has a non-negligible workload on its hands, so if the DAO can propose a ready-made solution, it can help speed-up the process.
This ready-made solution could be commissioned…
Or a work-group of sorts could be formed out of DAO members in order to figure out the code to implement this specific change :thinking:

The Foundation doesn’t really play nice with the DAO, unless you are a rare exception, and I don’t imagine they will be interested in giving the dao any ability to do anything

Though, this might be me being cynical, which I have been told I can be some times

This is a great idea but should be submitted on Canny. It has a polling option where the community can comment and upvote on your request.
