Hey, DCL fam! I hope you’re all doing well. I wanted to take a moment to share what’s been keeping me busy this month.
Highlights
December 7th was a treat as we tuned in to witness the incredible talent of Omito Beats during a live music production session. Omito, a 27-year-old Canadian music producer, brings over a decade of experience crafting beats across various genres. With a staggering 250,000 followers on social media, Omito’s journey in the online music industry is a testament to creative independence and the power of pursuing one’s passions.
On December 17th, we were truly fortunate to host Bufalo, a legend in the Metaverse, on MoBeatz. We had an exclusive glimpse into his iconic songs and witnessed his creative process firsthand. Bufalo crafted a brand new song live, incorporating a guitar sample recorded specifically for him the previous night.
December 8th was a blast as I rocked Social Friday at VroomWay, an amazing event as always.
Debuting on the 13th, our brand new event called Hootenanny at the TRU band Room was awesome! Hootenanny is a live event where we delve into underground music, spinning vinyl, showcasing music videos, and discussing the profound influence of the underground punk scene on music and pop culture.
December 15th marked an immense pleasure—I had the honor of performing at the grand opening of the RIZK headquarters in DCL.
Throughout the month, MoFyah Mondays at the TRU band room were a joyous affair! Alongside hosting engaging sessions, we also shared three more original artworks with all the attendees.

Next steps
Looking ahead, the plan is to keep bringing in amazing guest producers for Mo Beatz, continue to rock live events, and create more original artwork to share.
