Players, users are more likely to buy (purchase) skins/wearables if they could try them on first. Although the marketplace has a preview function, it doesn’t do justice to how they look inside the world.
Idea is to allow all users, players to dress up & preview the skins they like inside Genesis City. Especially the ones they don’t own. Both chains should be included, polygon and eth.
One minute reset will be enough for the users to make up their mind. After one minute preview feature/function resets and they can no longer wear the wearable.
I believe this will give a nice boost to skins market and display, showcase how the wearable really fit’s & looks on the users avatar, rather than guessing how it might look. This will also eliminate many users from purchasing skins they would regret once they equip their avatar in-world.
Hello, thank you for your suggestion and I like this idea. Just wondering if we can update the wearable view in Marketplace with a background other than a blank background vs having to log in to DCL which would be required with your suggestion. I would also like to see a close-up view of the face and head for those wearable categories.
I guess having to login to DCL only applys to the idea of the scene proposed, not preventing one to use the Marketplace function outside of DCL, which most probably won’t disappear after the idea is implemented.
Voting invalid only because there is another proposal just the same as this from a community member (Yours is an unminted wallet address). But I do support the idea.
