Your designs are AWESOME! I would love to wear these in Decentraland (the mens styles are great too)! Due to a bad experience w/ linked wearables (not being able to be worn bc I have a “female avatar” and the linked wearable was created on a “male body”) I would prefer to purchase these as items from the Marketplace.

Out of curiosity, what motivates you to pursue linked wearables instead of marketplace submission?

Thank you for your feedback, Deidre. We appreciate your support of our designs and understand your concern with linked wearables not being able to be worn due to avatar gender. Our aim with linked wearables is to offer affordable prices and custom wearables for everyone in the metaverse, starting at only $90, which is even less than the cost of minting in Decentraland. We would like to invite you to check our OpenSea profile, where all our clothes are available in 3D. We believe that having a linked wearable not only adds uniqueness to the item, but also provides an opportunity for our buyers to potentially make money by renting it out on other marketplaces.

At the end of the day, our goal is to provide high-quality and unique items for the Decentraland community at an affordable price.

As a DCL citizen (and not as a creator or developer), I feel that the mass majority of wearables on the Marketplace are priced fairly and affordably. A lot of wearables are even given away for free by completing quests, entering contests, attending events, etc.

I am not very clear on the mechanics of your subscription or pricing model of “$90” but I do not believe this is the intention behind the linked wearables feature. For that I will be voting No and look forward to seeing your designs for sale in the future!

"Dear Decentraland Community,

We apologize for any confusion regarding our initial proposal for linked wearables. Our intention is now clear: to offer unique and one-of-a-kind wearables for sale on the marketplace. As you may know, there are currently only 13 unique wearables available and we believe our designs will bring fresh and creative options to the table.

We are happy to pledge 40% of our profits towards Decentraland research and development to support the growth of the community if our linked wearable proposal goes through. Thank you for your understanding, and we look forward to contributing to the Decentraland ecosystem.

For those interested in custom wearables, we are offering our services to create unique designs for you at a price of $90. Simply provide us with your idea, and we will handle the rest, from design to development. You can then mint and sell the wearable, reaping the profits. If you have any questions or would like to place an order, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us at contact@steezyarts.com.

For more information, please visit our website at www.steezyarts.com."

Wait… you are going to charge $90 for linked wearables?

The reason the publishing fee for existing (non-linked) wearables is $150 is to pay the curator for making sure the glb is in compliance, and the rest goes to the DAO.

So if you are charging $90 for linked wearables, how much are you paying the DAO to create each one (before the 40% of your profits are returned to the DAO as you suggest). I have not seen a proposal trying to charge money to create linked wearables yet, and just want to make sure I fully understand what you’re business plan is.

Thank you for your continued interest in our business plan. I would like to clarify our services once again.

You can hire Steezy Arts to create a custom wearable for you at a cost of $90. This fee covers the design and development process to create a unique wearable. Once the wearable is created, you will have the ability to mint it yourself and sell it, retaining the profits.

Regarding the linked wearables, we will be selling them on Decentraland, and the DAO will receive 40% of the profits from each sale. You can preview the models by visiting our token ID on OpenSea, downloading the model, and uploading it to Decentraland. This will allow you to view the models in-game and assess their quality and functionality. We understand the importance of customer confidence, which is why we offer the ability to preview the models before making a final purchase decision. Additionally, you can make money from the wearable by renting it out or selling multiple copies.

If there’s anything else you’d like to know, please feel free to ask.

Best regards,

Steezy Arts

This is not in the best interest of our current creator community, and I will be voting no for now to protect creators and the DAO.

Hey Decentraland community,

We would like to express our concern about the imbalance of power in decision making within the community. One individual holding too much power to get proposals through or deny them goes against the principles of decentralization and could result in unfavorable outcomes for the community as a whole. In order to maintain a balanced distribution of power and ensure the fair treatment of all members.

Additionally, we have noticed that a few members with significant voting power are creating barriers for small creators and investors, which goes against the essence of a decentralized community and could lead to a loss of trust. It’s crucial that everyone has an equal voice and equal opportunity to participate in the decision making process.

We also request all members who voted no to elaborate on their reasons for doing so. Transparency and open communication is essential for maintaining a strong and vibrant community, and by sharing their thoughts and opinions, they can help us make informed decisions in the future.

Let’s work together to maintain a balanced and fair Decentraland community.
