Hey! will check collection now
The collection has been assigned to fabeeobreen
Hello @Tooken!
Wearable is good!
Hello, we try to upload the new file, but we get an error: “The item is too large to be uploaded. The maximum file size for wearable is 3MB.” But our file is 2,37mb. How can we solve it? @fabeeobreen
Do we need to delete the old version? If so, how can we do it? It only allows us to upload. @fabeeobreen
We gave 100+ usd, so we can not delete it. @fabeeobreen
Hello @hakanetwork !
1 : On you wearable collection page
2: In the preview editor clicking on the small pencil icon
If you still get size issue, try compressing your wearable texture with https://tinypng.com/ and then export the .glb again. If you are uploaing a custom thubmnail make sure it is 1024x1024 and its compressed the same way.
Let me know if you face issues.
Hello @fabeeobreen, I did those both, it doesn’t work. As I mentioned before, I get this error: "The item is too large to be uploaded. The maximum file size for wearable is 3MB.” But our file is 2,37mb. We tried what you’ve said again, and the same problem.
Ok, let me pass this to the dev team. Are you using any custom thumbnail for this wearable or just the autogenerated one? @hakanetwork
We have a custom thumbnail, yes. I am uploading it here. I hope we don’t have a problem, because today is the last day for Decentraland Metaverse Fashion Week Submission. Can you also help about that?
This thubmnail is 1080x1080 not 1024 square. @hakanetwork
If you try to upload a custom thumbnail that is not 1024x1024 the builder will automatically resize it to 1024 and sometimes will auto create a bigger file resulting in : The maximum file size for wearable is 3MB.
Please make sure you thumbnail file is exaclty a PNG 1024x1024 and compress it with TinyPNG before uploading it
Background must be transparent (rarity color is assigned automatically) and your logo should be placed in the bottom right corner @hakanetwork
Here you go, I think this fits the regulations. Anything else we can do for solving the problem? @fabeeobreen
Cool! @hakanetwork now try again to update your .glb and use this new thubmnail.
Please let me know if the same error persist
Problem continues! Also it does not upload the thumbnail as you directed. You can see the thumbnail error as attached.
And the wearable upload error is still the same.
The problem is about Decentraland.
There won’t be a problem with the Fashion Week, right? Because it is not about us doing something wrong.
I downloaded your wearable and your wearable’s texture is 2.29 MB. It is a lot.
1 : consider reduce your texture size from 1024 to 512.
2 : Use https://tinypng.com/ to compress your texture.
3 : load again the new resized/compressed texture in blender
4: export the wearable again.
With your current setup > you have a .glb with a very big texture + your custom thumbnail = above 3 mb
Thank you for direction, we did the revisions. Can you check @fabeeobreen
Great! Collection is approved! @hakanetwork
Thank you very much!! @fabeeobreen
