DAO Council & Regenesis Labs RFI
General Guidelines
The Quarterly RFI (Request for Information) is a structured way for the community to ask about the “what, why, and how” of:
-
Regenesis Labs’ quarterly transparency report, treasury, and operations.
-
The DAO Council’s governance, mandate, and oversight.
Use this RFI when you need information that is not already available in the report, dashboards or forum.
To keep this process efficient, it is highly recommended to:
-
Limit the request to a clear and focused topic.
-
Be specific about the information you are asking for.
This allows the DAO Council and Regenesis Labs to read, digest and respond in less time, without omitting key points.
Liaison (DAO Council – Regenesis Labs – Community)
-
The DAO Council owns this RFI process.
-
Regenesis Labs prepares answers related to operations, financials and treasury under Council oversight.
-
The Council or someone designed by the Council will act as a facilitator, responsible for:
-
Organizing, prioritizing and consolidating community questions.
-
Helping requesters align with the template and scope.
-
Routing questions to the DAO Council, Regenesis Executive Team, or both.
-
Channel & Functioning
-
The main channel for submitting RFIs and getting responses will be a Category / Tag on the Forum dedicated to setting up the RFI process for the DAO Council & Regenesis Labs.
-
Each quarter, a new thread will be created within this Category (e.g. “DAO Council & Regenesis Labs – Quarterly RFI – Q2 2026”). A Google Form linked at the top of each thread will remain open for 30 days for community members to submit their questions. Once the submission period closes and response stages are complete, the DAO Council and Regenesis Labs’ responses will be published directly in that thread.
A council member will moderate these threads and will have the authority to remove posts that:
-
Are not relevant to the RFI form,
-
Fall outside the stated scope, or
-
Do not follow the basic standards of respect and civility.
-
The process must allow sufficient time for responses and provide an appropriate deadline for the DAO Council & Regenesis Labs to respond to the RFIs.
As a standard, they will have a 30-day period to send a response, considering the necessary time to gather and compile all relevant information and documentation. -
Once the current round of submissions and responses is complete, another round will be opened in a future quarter, aligned with new Regenesis Labs transparency reporting.

Scope & Moderation
To protect the DAO Council and Regenesis Labs from energy-draining or abusive behavior, the Council may remove or decline questions that:
-
Contain personal attacks, doxxing, harassment or defamatory language.
-
Target individual personnel matters, confidential contracts or personal data.
-
Re-open closed disputes or governance cases without new material information.
-
Relate to ongoing legal matters or sensitive negotiations.
-
Are clearly spam, off-topic, or repeated multiple times.
When appropriate, declined questions may receive a brief explanation (e.g. “Cannot answer due to legal constraints”, “Out of scope for this RFI, please use X process instead.”).
Time Extensions
If shortlisted questions are complex or require extensive research or coordination, the DAO Council and Regenesis Labs may request a time extension for the response period, which will be communicated in the Forum thread.
Publishing
Responses will be public and available through:
-
The Forum thread, and
-
When appropriate, other channels such as social media, Regenesis Labs dashboards, etc.
Where possible, responses will link to:
-
On-chain data (Safe / Etherscan)
-
Public dashboards
-
Prior DAO decissions.
