Motivation
Currently, tracking the progress of Decentraland DAO’s funded projects is fragmented, with updates spread across forums, Discord, GitHub, and other community tools. This decentralization of reporting makes it difficult for the community to efficiently oversee initiatives, evaluate impact, and act on problems in a timely manner.
Rationale
To address this, we propose building a Project Progress Tracker with features designed specifically for Decentraland DAO’s structure, workflows, and governance culture:
- Milestone Tracking: Dedicated pages for each project showing deliverables, completion percentages, timelines, and status updates.
- Real-time Updates: Live tracking of progress, enabling stakeholders to stay informed as work evolves.
- Automated Alerts: Configurable notifications for missed deadlines, scope creep, or financial red flags via email and in-app alerts.
- Visualizations: Dynamic charts and progress graphs to illustrate timeline health, risks, and achievements.
- Risk Detection: ML-assisted monitoring to detect early indicators of delays, misalignment, or misuse of funds.
