Instead of convertion a percentage of mana treasury to stable coins, why not investigate other options that may be more beneficial to the platform & users.
Investigate a staking mechanism where either users get rewarded for holding assets or treasury gets rewarded for staking x amount of x coins. This reward can than be used to incentivize & reward news users as prices, giveaways treasure hunts etc…
I believe this is a better usage of the treasury Mana instead of swapping it to stablecoins and not receiving anything in return.
Good task for the Foundation because DAO is a clueless bunch who get paid to do nothing for the past 2 years. Perhaps maybe the staked rewards can cover DAO foundations expenses which is still a bonus if you think about. They are right now a dead weight for DCL
I like the idea of adding liquidity and staking for rewards it seems pretty standard anywhere and wonder why it has never been an option.
I think there should still be some diversification (not stable coins). Imagine where we would be had we done this anytime this past year. Just a few BTC would have some more ETH and that would have made up for a few grants anyway.
As far as the last statement, this makes it difficult to vote YES for cause that kind of crap does nothing to help this proposal or the community and the platform itself. It may be difficult to do (or even impossible for you) but I highly suggest a different approach in proposal writing. Who knows, maybe some of them would pass. So I guess I am left with a N/A vote response purely cause of the negative aspect of this proposal.
You keep saying the same things over and over that are totally irrelevant & unrelated which makes you look foolish, silly, insecure, incompetent & ignorant.
Just because you don’t like new ideas and or change doesn’t mean everyone else has to follow.
I’m surprised they haven’t got rid of you yet & you are still around after all the harm you caused to DAO & DCL by banning 1000’s of new potential lifetime players/users from the platform. You are a dead weight & a liability to Decentraland brand.
Banning new users who don’t align with your vision is nothing shy of hypocrisy. Decentraland values free speech yet you go totally against this motto by banning anyone and everyone who opposes your views.
I understand you are afraid of losing your position because this is the only thing you have going for you in your life. It’s what’s called being insecure. That is where you are right now.
I am only stating the facts. DAO in it’s current stage is a nonfunctional mechanism. Therefore it requires a jump start & a new life. This will not be possible with the current workforce in place because it was their collective decision that put us in this situation.
Bring in new blood & get rid of all the current DAO workforce.
