I believe developing this kind of alternative funding mechanism could be very beneficial for the community.
The topic opened by @ile set good bases for feeding this kind of proposals ([DAO:cbaf802] New Proposal Category : 'Feature Request’), also @tudamoon comments goes on this same direction.
