Exploring other ERC versions for LAND NFTs

To unlock liquidity, increase community involvement, and on-chain monetization for our LAND NFTs, I propose forming an official/verified ERC-20 wrapper version of the currently ERC-721.

wLAND!

Allowing wrapped tokens can help:

  1. Allow mass buying/selling.
  2. Greater awareness on CEXs and DEXs.
  3. Increase volume for people arbitraging.
  4. Communal renting layer (highest bidder can deploy daily) (yield)
  5. Generating recurring yield for the community treasury.
  6. Possibility of reselling squares on the marketplace at a higher price than 1:1.
  7. More!

How can that be done? ERC-721 is a non-fungible token

You’d have to have a smart contract that everyone deposits their LAND (ERC-721) into..
Then receives 1 wLAND at a 1:1 ratio..

Ah ok, but we don’t need anyone to do that, we can do it ourselves , that’s a good part of decentralization
