Currently it’s very difficult to tell exactly where a sound/voice is coming from when in DCL, and sounds seem to simply get louder the closer you are to them but are not spatial in the sense of utilizing stereo for directionality.
This proposal is to incorporate spatial audio functionality into Decentraland, perhaps using an open source library like Resonance Audio -
I would be EXTREMELY interested in helping put Resonance in Decentraland. I’m hoping to make 6 dof ambisonics immersive installation on my plot of land.
