It seems to me that an enacted governance can just be ignored and there is, as in the past, no accountability. Nothing states when there is time or if someone feels it’s not important they can choose to not do it. These are enacted governances that are not being followed.
The Decentraland DAO passed a mission statement in November 2024 requiring the mission to be published across all channels within 1-3 months and the roles of the Foundation and DAO to be clearly defined in all relevant documentation. Neither was done.
The DAO passed a proposal requiring all future grant recipients to prominently acknowledge the support of the Decentraland DAO on their websites, marketing materials, and relevant platforms. Current grant recipients under the Regenesis Labs program are not doing this. The position taken is that this proposal applied only to past grants. The proposal says “all future grant recipients.”
A passed governance decision is not a suggestion. The community does not vote so that the people executing on its behalf can decide which decisions matter.
