Summary

This Binding Governance Proposal is to formally appoint Dax as a member of the Revocations Committee, following DAX’s selection amongst in a Pre-Proposal Poll, and confirmation in a Draft Proposal.

Abstract

This draft proposal is the second stage in the process of creating the initial setup of the DAO Revocations Committee. Its motivation is to confirm the selection of one committee member, who was pre-selected by the Grant Support Squad based on their professional background, technical knowledge, trustworthiness, and presented to the community for answering questions and receiving feedback.
The outcome of this proposal will be the confirmation of the selected committee member, which will then proceed to the Binding Governance Proposal stage for formal appointment to the Revocations Committee.

Motivation

The DAO needs to appoint members to the Revocations Committee to ensure a robust and transparent governance process for resolving disputes related to the revocation of grants. The committee member selection process is crucial to ensure the right candidates are chosen based on objective criteria such as professional background, their contributions to the Decentraland DAO technical knowledge, and trustworthiness within the community.

This Binding Governance Proposal confirms the selection of one committee member for the Revocations Committee based on their pre-selection by the Grant Support Squad, and feedback from the community during the open Q&A session,. The selected candidates who could not attend the mentioned live session, answered asynchronously in the dedicated Discord channel
