Introduction
Hello everyone, and thank you for following our progress on the SDK6 to SDK7 migration project. This month, we have been fully focused on migrating one of Decentraland’s most significant scenes, and we’re excited to share the latest updates.
Highlights
- WonderMine Migration: Our team has been dedicated to migrating WonderMine, and we have completed approximately 30% of the game. So far, we have successfully connected the servers and deployed the environment. However, we still need to integrate the meteor server and implement the full game logic.
- Scene Migration Prioritization: The Foundation team has shared a curated list of scenes that are of interest for migration, compiled by the marketing team and the community. This will help us prioritize our next steps and ensure that key experiences remain accessible in Decentraland.
Blockers
Orca TT Status Unknown: We have not received any further updates regarding Orca TT, a scene that applied for migration last month. Despite reaching out, we are still awaiting documentation to proceed.
Next steps
Continue working on the WonderMine migration, with a primary focus on integrating the meteor server and finalizing the game logic.
