Introduction
In January, our efforts were primarily dedicated to conducting a pilot test with Lux Studio Yoga, a collaboration that has provided invaluable feedback and insights into our platform’s functionality and user experience. This month’s focus has been on refining our integration with WooCommerce and exploring opportunities to enhance our service offerings through potential partnerships and pilot programs.
Highlights
Pilot Test with Lux Studio Yoga: Our partnership with Lux Studio Yoga (Shop | Lux Studio) has been instrumental in identifying key areas for improvement. The brand’s feedback has led to the addition of two crucial hooks in WooCommerce: one for purchase and another for deleted products. This enhancement aims to streamline operations and improve data synchronization between WooCommerce and our platform.
Granular Shipping Costs: Based on the feedback, we have decoupled shipping costs from WooCommerce and DG-Live, allowing for more granular control over shipping prices. This development enables brands to set different shipping rates for purchases made in Decentraland, offering greater flexibility and customization for our clients.
Exploratory Talks with WeSeller (https://weseller.cl/): We have initiated discussions with WeSeller, another potential test client. These talks are geared towards understanding their needs and determining the best approach to implement a pilot test that could further validate and enhance our platform’s capabilities.
Deployment of a Real Store for Demos: To showcase our platform’s potential and functionality, we have deployed a “real” store within Decentraland. This demo store, accessible here, SDK7 Scene Template - Decentraland , serves as a practical example of what brands can achieve by integrating their eCommerce presence with Decentraland.
