Hi Yanakis, thanks a lot for your feedback. The idea behind placing this wearable as a ‘Skin’ is really to keep it fully combinable. We want users to be able to mix and match it with any other wearables, especially with pieces from last year’s Viva la Calaca collection. For example, this full-body makeup skin doesn’t appear on the face by itself because we already have a separate face makeup piece from last year’s collection. So the intention is to allow layering—like adding an upper body or other accessories—without conflicts. Let me know if this makes sense or if you have any other recommendations. We just want to keep it as flexible as possible for the community. Thanks again!
In order for it to be a skin it would need to be a full avatar including the head as mentioned in the documentation and be fully rigged to the whole armature
Sure Yannakis, in that case, one question: We could add a head but we won’t apply any material or texture to it so that users can customize it however they like or layer other items on top. Would that work? Let me know if that’s acceptable so we can make the adjustments and resubmit it. Thanks!
I checked with the designer we’re working with, and she sent us this screenshot from a previous chat in Discord with another Curator where she was asking this matter.
After reviewing it, we’d like to kindly ask if it would be possible to accept the wearable as it is right now.
Hey @Karinai2C yes Ive forwarded this to our curator group chat as you sent it and im awaiting to get other’s opionions too. Will get back to you as soon as possible on this!
Hey! Unfortunately ill have to stick with my first recomendation of switching to upper body and hiding the other categories as this could cause some gameplay issues and would need the unhiding “workaround” in order to make it not headless.
Hi Yannakis,
Thank you for your time. The current number of textures is 5, the builder shows 9 because 4 of the textures are plugged into both the base color and emissive nodes. I hope this is ok.
Thanks
